The modern wing in the Radisson SAS Farnham Estate Hotel has 146 wonderfully comfortable and tasteful contemporary standard rooms, spread over three floors. Attention to detail is absolute. The interior design has blended cool contemporary design with the very latest in convenient room amenities including walk in showers, wireless broadband and flat screen LCD televisions.
At Farnham Estate, the profound natural beauty of the landscape was the inspiration for much of the interior design with rooms featuring artwork from the estate throughout the seasons and the use of natural materials that enhance the cool and chic modern styling.
The Botanica Restaurant
The wealth and beauty of Farnham’s own plant life is reflected in the theme of the dining experiences at Farnham Estate. The hotel’s Botanica Restaurant menu includes the finest of local, seasonal produce and is a sophisticated and creative celebration of the Irish botanical world. Overlooking Farnham lawn, the restaurant provides a beautiful setting for guests to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Within the restaurant is the Lemon Tree Room which is an ideal venue for family and group celebrations for up to 35 guests. With direct access to the courtyard, diners can enjoy sitting outdoors when the weather allows.
The Potting Shed
Located within the kitchen, The Potting Shed is a private dining room with lots of character, catering for small parties with up to 10-12 guests. Diners here can enjoy watching the chefs in action – up close and personal.
The Pear Tree Restaurant
Located within the Farnham Estate Health Spa is The Pear Tree Restaurant, serving deliciously healthful cuisine throughout the day. This restaurant caters to spa guests only, allowing them to enjoy light and nutritious food while remaining in their spa attire – enhancing the wonderful experience that a visit to the Health Spa provides.
Wine Goose Cellar Bar
Underneath Farnham House is an array of underground tunnels which served as the kitchen and quarters for the Farnham House staff throughout the centuries. Today, one of these tunnels located underneath the hotel’s reception area houses the Wine Goose Cellar Bar where guests and visitors alike can enjoy a drink or two and step back in time. This is a wonderfully interesting and atmospheric bar and is often used as a venue for wine tasting evenings.
Farnham House
On the ground floor of Farnham House are three beautiful drawing rooms – the Music Room, the Games Room and the Boudoir, where guests and visitors alike can relax and unwind. Weather permitting, guests can sit outside and enjoy views of the lawn and estate. Refreshments are served here throughout the day.
The Botanica Bar
Located next to the Botanica Restaurant and within the hotel's wonderfully spacious lobby is the Botanica Bar. This is an ideal place to relax and unwind after checking in to the hotel or to sample a cocktail or two prior to dining in the restaurant.
